Aquatic Program Assistant • Part-Time
Assists with daily operations of the aquatic center including planning, implementing, and supervising aquatic programs based on the day-to-day business volume.

Works with Aquatics Manager to create new, innovative programs that generate revenue, promote and cultivate an environment that values diversity, equity and inclusion, and support the mission, goals, and values of the department and college.

Assists with administration and supervision of swimming lesson programs, and supervises activities.

Head Pool Lifeguard • Part-Time
Conduct a wide variety of swimming, diving, and specialty aquatic activities.

This position will be responsible for opening and closing facilities and working with the Aquatics Management Team to develop and improve existing aquatic programming, practices, and procedures.

Head Pool Lifeguards are also responsible for patron safety, patron surveillance, instruction, record keeping, progress reports, minor facility maintenance and custodial tasks, and other duties as assigned.

Customer Service Representative-Aquatics • Part-Time
Performs work routine including clerical and general office duties in recreational environment.

Screens visitors, answers telephone, and helps to identify and respond to customer needs.

Assists customers by providing information or making referrals to the most appropriate personnel or service.

Controls access to the Aquatic Center while providing a high level of quality customer service.

Swim Instructor/Pool Lifeguard• Part-Time
Conducts a wide variety of swimming, diving, and specialty aquatic activities.

Ensures patron safety, and performs patron surveillance, instruction, record keeping, progress reports, minor facility maintenance and custodial tasks, and other duties as assigned.

Promotes and cultivates an environment that values diversity, equity and inclusion, and engages in evidence-based decision-making, while supporting the mission, goals, and values of the department and college. $16/hour.

Job Summary:
Establishes relationships in the community to build and promote community education classes for a diverse community. Provides general assistance to the department and acts as the liaison to Community Education instructors. Represents MHCC at outreach events at businesses in the district.
