Speaker: Paula Springer of Key Elements10 Ways to Ignite Your Workspace Mojo
(and Turn on your Prosperity)When you walk into your workspace, what do you see? Do you feel good? Do you feel excited to work or serve your customers? Is your office or storefront a supportive and nurturing environment, that allows you to be productive and prosperous? Or is it stressing you out and draining your (and your customers and clients’) energy?Think about it…. this place is the crucible where you are transforming your skills and talents into your income. All too often, we put our time and attention on the spaces that are less instrumental in changing our lives. Could we be more productive, more creative and more prosperous if our offices and business spaces supported us more? The answer is yes!Paula Springer of Key Elements Inc. is an expert stager and the queen of color. In 10 Ways to Ignite Your Workspace Mojo & Flip the Switch on Your Prosperity, she’ll share tips from design psychology, health and wellness ideas, and mindset tricks that can impact your productivity on a profound level, whether your office is in a spare bedroom or you have a large storefront business.
Bring a picture of your workspace or business for a chance to have a live assessment.

If you are interested in Transit or would like to support our City’s Transit System at the Capitol, here is your chance! April 10th 2013.The City of Sandy Transit team will be taking an accessible transit vehicle again this year and encourage all who want to participate to join them. Those who have attended in the past have found it to be an educationally enriching and empowering experience. You can talk with your legislators and experience your government in action.Resister for Transit Day or find out more information. When you register please send an email to Julie Stephens, City of Sandy Transit Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org so they know you are planning to join them. They will then be in touch to coordinate the trip with you. If you decide to travel on your own, please still let them know you will be attending.
Sandy Actors Theatre
Sandy Actors Theatre’s first show of 2013 is The Last Romance, by Joe DiPietro. Life mimics opera in this Golden Years romance between lonely hearts Ralph and Carol. Rose, Ralph’s protective and perhaps jealous sister, tells Carol: “He’s eighty, he moves fast” and he’s “quite the catch….He can still drive at night.” Beautiful music is an intimate part of this story, and as Ralph says of opera, the underlying music of love and family ties makes each of the characters bigger than who they are and makes their lives mean so much more. The Last Romance runs February 8th through March 3rd, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, Sundays at 3:00 pm, with a special Valentine’s Day performance. Tickets are $15 general admission, $12 students and seniors, and $10 children under 12. Reserve your seats by calling 503-668-6834. For more information, visit sandyactorstheatre.org. Sandy Actors Theatre is wheelchair accessible and has hearing assist devices available, which can be reserved when you call for tickets. Opening weekend, $2 off all tickets.
