First Friday: We have space available for all of our members to host a table during First Friday. This is a great opportunity to get your business face in front of new customers.  If you are interested in hosting a table please call our office at 503.668.4006.

Cinema Advertisement: The Sandy Cinema offers us a monthly slide for our members to share ad space at a reduced cost. For a business card size ad it would be $60.00 a month. You would be sharing ad space with 5 other members. If this is of interest to you please contact our office at 503.668.4006.

Chamber Committees
As you read last week we will be highlighting a different chamber committee each week. This week we are highlighting the Events and Fundraising committee chaired by board of director Roz Rushing. This committee will design and plan new fundraisers and events.  They will ensure there is a specific fundraising target, research and identify potential funding sources and identify the profitability along with developing an action plan.  If you would like to be a part of this committee contact our office at 503.668.4006.

City of SandyCoffee with City Councilor Carl Exner
Join City Councilor Carl Exner at the Sandy Public Library’s main room for “Coffee With a Councilor” on January 8th from 4pm to 6pm. The City of Sandy will be setting their new goals soon and
Carl wants to hear what you, the citizens of Sandy, have to say and what you think is important.

On Wednesday, January 2, the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce held its first “Cash Mob” and surprised Jeff Roman and Sabrina Stivaletta, employees at the new Coffee Station coffee shop on Proctor Blvd.

Fifteen members of the chamber walked through downtown Sandy in the chilly early morning hours and arrived at the shop, ready for coffee.“Cash mobs” are a concept that evolved from “flash mobs”—
